Dear Carmel Del Mar Families,
I would like to welcome the entire Carmel Del Mar community to the 2010-11 school year. The staff and I are busy preparing for the year ahead, and we are thrilled to have an opportunity to educate your child. The following information will help you prepare for the beginning of the new year.
All school offices open Monday, August 23rd , Office hours are 8:00am-4:00pm.
Classroom assignments for Carmel Del Mar students will be posted on the district website on August 27th at 5:00pm. Each family will receive a letter from the district office explaining the procedure for obtaining your child’s classroom assignment. Also, please remember we are paperless with most school-wide information. All important dates and events are listed on the CDM and PTA web sites.
If you pre-ordered your child’s school supplies through the PTA, they will be delivered to your child on the first day of school. Please visit the CDM web site if you need a listing of school supplies.
PTA presidents Allison Healy-Poe and Dana Estess invite you to attend a Welcome Back Coffee in front of the school on August 30th, the first day of school.
Back to School Night for all grades will take place September 2nd, beginning at 6:00pm in the Amphitheater.
