The five-member Board of Trustees is an elected body. Members serve four-year terms. The Board is responsible for the approval of the scope and focus of the District, as well as all Board Policy decisions. The Board is responsible for the appointment of the Superintendent, who administers the day-to-day operations of the District and who is answerable to the Board.
The Board meets every month and the meetings are public. The community is invited to attend these meetings, and the Board welcomes the participation of our involved, supportive community.
The Board elects it officers and sets its meeting schedule for the next calendar year at each December Board Meeting. Click here for the Calendar of Board Meetings for 2010 . Meetings begin at 5:45 p.m. and are held at Del Mar Hills Academy, 14085 Mango Drive, Del Mar, CA 92014.
