As we begin a new school year at The Hills, I find myself reflecting on the ever strong commitment our community has toward this little school and the young learners who are at the heart of every decision we make. I continue to have every confidence in our teaching staff to provide a rigorous academic program in a caring, nurturing environment.

Message from Superintendent Peabody

I would like to thank everyone in the Del Mar community for the warm welcome I have received. It has been a pleasure visiting the schools and meeting parents and staff. I would like to take the opportunity to dispel a rumor that the Del Mar Hills Academy of Arts and Sciences will be closed. The Board of Trustees has taken action that the district will not close Del Mar Hills Academy. Del Mar Hills is a viable, solid community option for incoming kindergartners and new families and they are looking forward to growing their vibrant school community.

Don't miss "Flowers in the Park" on Saturday, April 24th at Powerhouse Park. There will be fun activities for the whole family. Presented by the students of Del Mar Hills Academy.
