Jodi Neilson, Music Teacher, Receives CMEA Outstanding Music Educator Award
Congratulations to Jodi Neilson, Music Teacher at Ocean Air, for earning the remarkable honor of California Music Educators Association's Outstanding Music Educator Award! Jodi was selected from music educators throughout the entire state of California to receive this prestigious award for her exceptional teaching and professional dedication to providing outstanding music education to children. She will be formally recognized in Sacramento at the CMEA "Honoring Our Stars" Awards Banquet Gala on Friday, March 12, 2010. We are very fortunate to have such a talented educator in our district! Thank you, Jodi, for your dedication and passion. You make us proud!

REGISTRATION FOR 2010-2011
If you have a Kindergarten student starting in the Fall (he/she must turn 5 by Dec. 2), please attend a Kindergarten orientation (adults only) on: Monday, April 19th at 8:15am or 9:30am, or Tuesday, April 20 at 8:15am. Kindergarten registration packets will be available in the school office on Monday, April 19th. The first day to return completed registration packets is WEDNESDAY, APRIL 21 from 1:00-6:00pm, or any day after that. Registration packets for new 1st-6th grade students will be available in the school office beginning Monday, April 19.

Because there are over 300 cars that come in and out of our school twice daily, we have designated procedures to accommodate and promote the smooth flow of traffic. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR LUNCH DUTY!!!
With the opening of our new park next door, we are needing more parent volunteers to help keep our students safe out on the fields. Please call the school office if you are willing and able to help on any weekday from 11:30am-12:15pm. THANK YOU!!
