08-09 Classroom Teacher Information

The 2008/2009 electronic class lists for Sage Canyon School will be posted on the District website on Friday, August 22nd at 5:00 p.m. through Monday, August 25th.
The District is mailing a letter to DMUSD parents that will provide parents with information to access the 2008/2009 electronic class lists on the District website. With the child’s Student ID number and birth date parents will be able to access the following: teacher name, room number and the first names with last name initial of the other students in the class.
When parents access the 2008/2009 class lists at the website, both new and returning parents will be asked to provide the District with a current e-mail address. We are optimistic that every DMUSD parent will register their e-mail address so that we can provide all DMUSD families with important electronic communication during the 2008/2009 school year, including site/district newsletters, and information concerning Board meetings, site PTAs, After School Child Care, school and all other important information. Please Note: The District maintains the same confidentiality with e-mail addresses as it does with all other student information provided on student enrollment forms. The District does NOT distribute parent e-mail addresses to other organizations.

Back to School Night: Thursday evening, August 30th -6:30-7:35 pm

Each classroom teacher will hold two sessions so that parents with multiple children attending Sage Canyon can attend each classroom presentation. The presentations will be identical in content and are designed for parents.
Session One: 6:30-7:00 pm
Session Two: 7:05-7:35 pm
Get a sitter and plan to come to school to hear from your child's teacher what is expected during the course of the school year. The night provides a great opportunity to meet parents in your child's class and ask questions.
Back to School Night is for parents only.

Kindergarten Orientation

On Friday morning, August 22nd, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., parents and 2008/2009 kindergartners are invited to tour their classroom and to meet their teacher. Please enter your child’s classroom through the outside classroom door. Class lists for Kindergarten only will be posted on the Kindergarten playground.

New Student and Family Tour

First- Sixth grade students and their parents are invited to attend a new student tour on Friday, August 22nd, at 10:00 a.m. Meet Principal Dr. Peg LaRose and Assistant Principal, Mr. Ryan Stanley in the courtyard.
