  • Help our Sixth Graders Support the Monarch School - January 22 through February 2

As the 6th graders enter the home stretch to promotion, they have realized how special their experiences have been at Del Mar Heights and how lucky they are to be part of this amazing community. As such, they would like to give back to children who are not as fortunate, homeless children who attend the Monarch School. The Monarch School is a K-12 school for homeless children in San Diego County. The 6th grade class would like to give back by gathering donations of either money or the following products: toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair brushes, hair comb, and hair rubber bands. There will be donation boxes in class rooms and bins as well as donation boxes in the front of the school the week of and the week after the Talent Show (Jan. 22 – Feb. 2). Finally, there will be a bake sale during the talent show intermission on Friday, January 26th. All proceeds will go to the Monarch School.
