  • DMUSD Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) - Provide your input.

The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) is an important component of the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). Under the LCFF all local education agencies (i.e. DMUSD) are required to prepare an LCAP, which describes how they intend to meet annual goals for all pupils, with specific activities to address state and local priorities identified pursuant to EC Section 52060(d). We value your input in this collaborative process as we review progress on the LCAP and revise actions for the upcoming school year.

  • Congratulations Ashli Hansen, Sycamore Ridge Teacher of the Year!

It is great pride that we honor Ashli Hansen as the Sycamore Ridge Teacher of the Year. Ashli is an over-comer, a problem-solver, an innovator and a dynamic member of Sycamore Ridge School. Her enthusiasm, love, and passion for teaching (and her students) are apparent every day she walks on campus. Ashli does not work or serve for awards or accolades, but simply to inspire and impact those she comes in contact with. Ashli has embraced the ideals that the Del Mar School District values. Whether you have the privilege of visiting her classroom or view her tweets, you will instantly recognize that Mrs. Hansen is a risk-taker going for the gold! Way to go Ashli and congratulations!

  • Congratulations Lesa House, Sycamore Ridge Classified Employee of the Year!

Ms. Lesa House is a stellar employee at Sycamore Ridge School and in the Del Mar School District. Lesa knows the ins and outs of DMSUD and is capable of answering any question or concern thrown her way. No one ever hesitates to ask Lesa a question or ask for help. She always answers, "Not a problem," or "Of Course!" The quality of work and hours Lesa puts in are well above her job description. We are so fortunate to have Lesa at Sycamore Ridge School!
