I am looking forward to my 18th year teaching here at CDM.  This will be my seventh year as a 1st grade teacher.  I love my job!  I am surrounded by great families and staff. We all work together toward a common goal, creating the best learning environment for our future innovators and leaders.  This year will be awesome!

My wife, Melissa, and I are proud parents of 2 boys, Finnegan (14) and Everett (12).   We live in Oceanside, where both boys go to school.  I love surfing, jogging, yoga, exercising, camping, and gardening. I also coach competitive soccer for the Oceanside Breakers. It seems like we are always busy with soccer, friends, and family.  I am not sure where all the time goes but as they say, "Time flies when you're having fun."

A fun quote to live/teach by:
Develope a passion for learning.  If you do, you will never cease to grow.  Anthony J. D'Angelo

I especially love this quote because I have developed a passion for learning and I want to inspire others to do the same.  As a result, I continue to grow as a teacher, colleague, father, coach, and friend.
