Field Trip Lunches

  • For school year 2018-2019, the Child Nutrition Department will be offering field trip lunches for students participating in field trips that occur during the lunch hour.

    Field trip lunches will include the following items:

    1.   Sunbutter and Jammie Sandwich
    2.   Fresh fruit
    3.   Fresh vegetable
    4.   Milk

    If a field trip is occurring during the lunch hour for your student, you will be provided a field trip order form along with your permission slip.  Price for a field trip lunch is $7.00 and will be provided directly to your student during the field trip lunch period.

    For students participating in the Free or Reduced Lunch Program, please refer to materials provided with your welcome letter or email with questions.

    Commonly Asked Questions

    Q.  How do I order a field trip lunch online?

    A.  Online ordering is not available for field trip lunches.  You must complete the field trip lunch order form and provide payment to the teacher by the order deadline.

    Q.  If I already ordered a meal for this day, can my student receive the pre-ordered meal from the online menu?

    A.  No.  Due to food safety requirements, field trip lunches are limited to only those items that can remain safely packaged and temperature-controlled.  You must order a meal from the field trip lunch order form or provide a lunch from home.  For the pre-ordered meal online, you should logon to your account and cancel the order for that day (please refer to cancellation policy for refunds).
