    Family:
    Gee Wah is a native of San Diego, growing up in the East County.  He and his wife, Stephanie, settled in Carmel Valley in 2017 to raise their family in this outstanding school district.  They have two boys, with the eldest attending Ashley Falls School and the youngest to enroll in several years.

    Education:
    Gee Wah graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration.  He went on to receive his law degree from Cornell Law School.  

    Professional:
    Gee Wah practiced business litigation for a number of years helping clients resolve complex business disputes in both state and federal courts.  He has experience in all phases of litigation and has handled a variety of substantive matters including intellectual property, product liability, insurance claims and general commercial conflicts.

    Community Service:
    Gee Wah helped Co-Chair the campaign for Yes on MM, the general obligation bond measure which successfully passed in 2018 to provide facilities funding for Del Mar Union.  He has also been an active member of the San Diego County Bar Association and the Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego.  Gee Wah is also actively involved in the Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network.  Gee Wah also serves as a hospice care patient companion.      

    Board Responsibilities:
    Gee Wah is currently serving his first term as an appointed member of the school board.  He is currently serving as Board Clerk, Board Representative to the North Coastal Consortium for Special Education (NCCSE) and alternates with other members as Board Liaison to the Del Mar Schools Education Foundation (DMSEF).
