Alison Fieberg is thrilled to be serving as the principal of Sage Canyon School. Mrs. Fieberg is an exceptional educator and leader who has performed with distinction in DMUSD since 2004. During her career, Mrs. Fieberg has been an assistant principal at two schools, a teacher on special assignment doing district-level work, and a primary and upper-grade classroom teacher. Mrs. Fieberg has served on numerous district-level committees, is a skilled presenter, and excels at establishing strong relationships and supporting children, families, and staff.
Alison grew up in Connecticut. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Maryland at College Park. Upon graduation, she taught second and third grade. In 2002, she moved to San Diego to pursue a Master of Arts in Reading Education. She then went on to teach in the Del Mar Union School District for 11 years before moving into administration. She earned an administrative credential through San Diego State's Educational Leadership program.
Outside of school, Alison enjoys spending time with her family. Her husband Jim is a science teacher and they have two daughters, Audrey (age 9) and Olivia (age 6). Together they love to travel and to spend lots of time outside.
