    GOVERNING BOARD OF TRUSTEES

    The five-member Governing Board of Trustees is an elected body. Members serve four-year terms. The Governing Board is responsible for the approval of the scope and focus of the District, as well as all Board Policy decisions. The Board is responsible for the appointment of the Superintendent, who administers the day-to-day operations of the District and who is answerable to the Board.
