How to Enroll
-How to Enroll-
The enrollment process is through an online account system known as DayCare Works. All families will need to have a DayCare Works account.
Del Mar Union School District (DMUSD) employees and currently enrolled families will receive an email from the Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC) with a specific enrollment code to use with your DayCare Works online account system.
Please use your current DayCare Works account to register, as duplicate accounts will cause accounting errors.
New families will need to create a DayCare Works account during open enrollment using the following link:DayCare Works.
To secure your child's space, a non-refundable, non-applicable $150 enrollment and materials fee will be collected per child.
It is the family's responsibility to enroll his or her child in the age-appropriate classroom based on DMUSD ECDC guidelines:
- Infant classroom: 6 weeks- 18 months
- Toddler classroom: 18 months- 27 months
- Preschool 1 classroom: 27 months
- Preschool 2 classroom: 3 years old by September 1st and fully potty trained
- Prekindergarten classroom: 4 years old by September 1st and fully potty trained
Please note, cut off dates are aligned with California and Del Mar Union School District Kindergarten entrance. If a child is not registered in the correct classroom based on these ECDC guidelines, he or she may not have an enrollment spot. Classroom availability is based on first-come, first serve.
Final enrollment is contingent upon administration approval of correct classroom placement
and submission of supplemental forms, which can be accessed using the following link:
