Account Access

New parent to the district (with no currently enrolled students) and need to register a student? Click here to create a new ParentVUE account. Once an account has been created, all children in your household will be registered using the same ParentVUE account. If your children have already been enrolled, do not create a new account from this link.
 
DMUSD parents with currently enrolled students may login using their existing ParentVUE credentials.
 
To create an account if your child or children are already enrolled, an activation key is required. All parents with educational rights should have received an email on or around July 30, 2021 titled "DMUSD Synergy ParentVUE Account Activation." If you do not recall receiving this email, please check your spam or junk email folder before requesting a new activation code. 
 
If you do not have an email in your spam folder, please contact your school administrative assistant via email to verify the email address on file and get a new activation key. By emailing, you allow school staff to verify that you are a current parent with rights to access your student’s information. Access information will not be released over the phone.

Some users have reported that they are unable to complete the Back to School Packet because the portal is directing them through the New Student Registration. This is happening to parents who attempted to complete the Back to School Packet on Saturday, August 17 or earlier, before it was made available in the system. 
 
If you are being directed to complete the New Student Registration packet, please click the "Delete New Student" button at the left side of the page. This will clear the in-progress registration and allow you to complete the Back to School Packet.

Known Connection Issue with ParentVUE App

Some users are getting the error message "unable to connect to School District Server. You have entered invalid URL."
 
For some users, ParentVUE app is pointing to the incorrect web address. To gain access to the DMUSD ParentVUE mobile app if you get this error message, please follow these instructions:
 
  • From the login page, click the Settings gear in the bottom left corner.
  • Click the “Add another district URL” button
  • Click “Enter Manually” at the bottom right corner.
  • Enter the URL https://ca-dmusd.edupoint.com and then click “Test”. Once the test is successfully completed, click “Done” in the top right corner.
  • Your app should now be pointing to the correct URL.

ParentVUE Portal and Mobile App

Synergy Education is the district's new student information system. Synergy's secure mobile app and parent web portal, ParentVUE, allows you to access certain information about your student's academic progress including class grades, attendance, and assessment, from DMUSD's student information system.  All new student registration, spring re-enrollment, and first day of school annual verifications will be completed in ParentVUE, rather than via a paper-based process. 
 
Each parent should create their own ParentVUE account (i.e. not share the same account). Each account contains the same information about your student(s).  Additionally, if you have multiple children attending DMUSD, you do not need to create a separate ParentVUE account for each child. The information for your child/all children is accessible from the same account. Lastly, you must activate your ParentVUE web portal account before using the ParentVUE mobile app. 
 
Using the ParentVUE Mobile App:
  • Go to your iOS or Android App store.
  • Search the store for the free "ParentVUE" app by Edupoint and download and install the app. 
  • Once you have installed the app, you may use your newly created account (see "ParentVUE Activation Directions above) to log in and see your student's information through the app on your mobile device.
