Music Specialists engage students in lessons that allow them to develop a solid foundation in music literacy. Students learn to express themselves through movement, singing, playing musical instruments, and the dramatic arts. Music Specialists expose students to music from around the world to develop empathy and appreciation for the historical context of music. Physical Education Specialists engage students in skill-based activities, games, and sports that foster a love of physical movement. Students learn about the positive impact of physical activity on their health while fostering character development, compassion, and teamwork. Primary Spanish Specialists use art, music, and game-based learning to immerse students in a multisensory language experience. Students build confidence while practicing Spanish conversation at the novice level in authentic situations and develop an understanding of and appreciation for the various Spanish speaking cultures. 

Science Specialists collaborate closely with classroom teachers to inspire students to be curious scientists and analytical engineers who think critically, strive to make sense of their world, and design solutions to relevant real-world problems. Through the use of online simulations and hands-on lab investigations aligned with the Amplify Science curriculum, students explore engaging phenomena and learn the California Next Generation Science Standards.
