State and Federal Programs
The Instructional Services Department is responsible for the distribution and management of categorically funded state and federal programs
Title I, Part A
This program supports effective, evidence-based educational strategies that close the achievement gap and enable students to meet the state's challenging academic standards. compensatory educational services for educationally disadvantaged students and bilingual education services for English language learners.
Title II, Part A: Supporting Effective Instruction
This federal program is to provide supplemental activities that strengthen the quality and effectiveness of teachers, principals, and other school leaders.
Title III, English Learners
Title III provides supplemental funding to support students learning English to attain English proficiency, develop high levels of academic achievement in English, and meet the same challenging state academic standards as all other students.
Title IV, Student Support and Academic Enrichment
These federal funds are to assist with improving students’ academic achievement by increasing the capacity to provide all students with access to a well-rounded education, improve school conditions for students learning, and improve the use of technology.
