The Del Mar Union School District is one of only 8 school districts in the state of California to receive a AAA bond rating, the highest rating that can be awarded.  Moody’s, the credit rating agency that reviewed DMUSD’s bonds, noted that the District’s “credit profile reflects its strong and stable financial position that is supported by management’s prudent fiscal practices.”  This stellar credit rating not only reflects the District’s strong fiscal health, it also minimizes the cost of the bonds for our taxpayers.
