Design Process

Design Process

Del Mar Union School District and obrARCHITECTURE conducted a 5-session community engagement process to design the new Pacific Highlands Ranch School #9.  Members of the community, District staff, and DMUSD families were invited to participate in each meeting, and the design process resulted in a site plan that is collaborative and flexible, provides opportunities for both indoor and outdoor learning, and is integrated into the surrounding nature and community.
