  • Del Mar Heights School Principal Selection

    Jason Soileau has been selected as the new principal at Del Mar Heights School in the Del Mar Union School District. Mr. Soileau joins Del Mar Heights School after the retirement of Wendy Wardlow, who was the school’s principal for 18 years. Mr. Soileau comes to DMUSD from Texas, where he served as a principal, assistant principal, and teacher. He is an accomplished school leader and highly-respected educator known for building positive school culture that supports the success of children.

  • Sage Canyon School Principal Selection

    Del Mar Union School District is pleased to announce that Mrs. Alison Fieberg will be the new principal of Sage Canyon School beginning in August. Mrs. Fieberg is an exceptional educator and leader who has performed with distinction in DMUSD since 2004. During her career, Mrs. Fieberg has been an assistant principal at two schools, a teacher on special assignment doing district-level work, and a primary and upper grade classroom teacher. Mrs. Fieberg has served on numerous district-level committees, is a skilled presenter, and excels at establishing strong relationships and supporting children, families, and staff.

  • Early Childhood Development Center Director Selection

    Del Mar Union School District welcomes its new Director of the Early Childhood Development Center, Brigitte Blazys. Ms. Blazys joins the district after having served as the Director of Pacific Beach Presbyterian Preschool, where she was the program’s leader for the past five years. Ms. Blazys’s experience, both as a preschool teacher and director, has positioned her well to lead the DMUSD Early Childhood Development Center. Ms. Blazys is a skilled educator who loves working with young children and building relationships with families.
